It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. Their products are always stellar and the company is just made up of good people!
They recently released their Fall 2013 color collection- Moderncraft. This may be my favorite collection yet.. Stunning, rich, vampy shades. I just want to live in them this Fall!
Today I have some swatches of the new Creme Colour Concentrates, but first here is a little peek at the whole collection. I was lucky enough to attend the launch of Moderncraft in NYC recently, where the new shades were on display. We were also treated to a performance by the beautiful Calpernia Addams, who is the spokesmodel for this campaign. OCC has a knack for choosing amazing models to represent their products. Calpernia is not only gorgeous and talented but is also a noted transgender rights activist. She has the perfect vintage look for this campaign.
Here are some shots from the launch and a sneak peek at the rest of the collection:
I'll be swatching the lip tars for you shortly, but for now let's take a look at the Creme Colour Concentrates. These richly pigmented, creamy concentrates provide intense color wherever you need it. You can create bold looks like the ones in the promo shot:
Or you can use them for a simple pop of color. Lets take a look!
From left to right we have Discipline, Vice, Melody, Grasshopper, District, and Bauhaus.
Each swatch is a quick swipe without primer. Isn't it amazing how pigmented and vibrant these are? A little goes a very long way. You can use these as eye shadows, eye liners, lip color, blush, etc. Vice makes an excellent eye primer to make bright colors really pop, and I LOVE Bauhaus to create a simple, dramatic smokey eye. A light wash of Discipline over the lids and a little mascara and you're out the door with a simple, pretty look. There are so many uses for these amazing Creme Colour Concentrates, you really get your money's worth and more. They are non drying, free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates, and like every OCC product cruelty free and vegan.
Pick up a few of these, you'll love them as much as I do!
